“Write your name in kindness, love, and mercy on the hearts
of thousands you come in contact with year by year,
and you will never be forgotten.
Your name and your good deeds will shine as stars in heaven.”
Thomas Chalmers
Scottish minister, professor of theology, political economist,
and a leader of the Church of Scotland
So Now What?
Seems simple enough. Be kind, loving and compassionate to others. Every day.
What an amazing life it would be if you were constantly making people feel better. And wouldn’t you attract into your life people who were full of love, kindness and mercy, which they would then give to you?
Now you can’t just be nice to someone every now and then and expect your name and deeds to shine as the stars in heaven. These acts of compassion, love and kindness need to happen everyday. This needs to be your personality. Your beingness needs to be saturated in love, kindness and mercy.
However, if this is hard for you then I’m guessing that maybe you can’t be kind, loving and compassionate to yourself. And until you can offer those gifts to yourself you won’t be able to become a truly loving, kind and compassionate person.
Dear Brave Soul, it is only by building an identity with these three core values that you will create a world of magnificent beauty.
Some things are so worth doing.
Stay Amazing!!!
