“Cry. Forgive. Learn. Move on.
Let your tears water the seeds of your future happiness.”
Author of Unapologetically You and The Power of One.
So Now What?
Now that’s a powerful quote. Let your tears water the seeds of your future happiness. Once again this quote points out that the power lies with you.
There is no room for victimhood in this quote. It doesn’t ask you to grasp onto the hurt and use it to justify your anger for years and years.
It’s about release. Feel the hurt. Then start the releasing process.
This quote is brilliant, healing, and loving toward yourself.
“Cry. Forgive. Learn. Move on. Let your tears water the seeds of your future happiness.”
To me the most powerful term in this quote is “learn.”
Who would you be if you used the hurt and pain of life as lessons to becoming a stronger, more loving person?
But notice that Mr. Maraboli doesn’t use the phrase, “and it’s so damn easy.”
He doesn’t write that because it’s not true. Because if it was easy…say it with me…then everyone would be doing it.
Cry, forgive, learn, move on. That’s hard. But’s it’s one of the best ways to grow into the person you want to be. It’s one of the best ways to grow in love, happiness, compassion and faith.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…It’s your life, it’s your responsibility.
