Discover How to Get Rid of Phobias and Fear… even if it’s been a problem for years!

Imagine living with greater comfort, confidence, and ease. Tapping into the power of your subconscious mind by using hypnosis for phobias and fear you can!

If you’re tired of feeling overwhelmed and fearful even though you logically you know you’re perfectly safe, this might be the most important information you have read in a while.

But First… Here’s a Warning:

Please understand this is a process focused on helping you get from where you are now to where you would like to be.

However, there are some people who only want to know “WHY” they have a fear.

Here’s how that usually plays out:

1.) You have an unnecessary fear keeping you stuck.

2.) By discovering a “WHY” you are validating that fear.

3.) The fear only strengthens and grows in power!.

Understand the strength of your own mind.

There are two statements we can make about any fear. First of all, it’s a part of your mind that’s working really hard to protect you. Therefore, the process to change it may be very simple: give it better information. The second statement is that it only took a few moments to learn the fear. As your mind is so gifted that it can learn quickly, you may be able to unlearn it just as quickly.

Ending Fear Using Hypnotherapy

The thoughts and emotions that you are creating in your mind, these thoughts and emotions that you find yourself ruminating about over and over again are training your mind and body.

The subconscious mind works through automation. Beating your heart, breathing, running your immune system, walking, riding a bike, navigating a spoon to your mouth, and driving a car are all examples of automatic habits. Things you don’t have to conscious think about doing. They are habits because you practiced them over and over again with the conscious mind until they become a natural part of your physiology. Now, thoughts and emotions can also become automatic habits when practiced over and over again.

Let’s go back to fear, worry and anxiety. When the stress response (sympathetic nervous system) gets triggered it causes a physical reaction of panic, fear and anxiety, and the results can include increased heart rate, muscle tension, headaches, irritability, depleted immune system, confused thinking, and insomnia, because your subconscious mind now thinks it’s unsafe to relax so you’ll wake up after only four hours of sleep. Chronic stress is the body and mind making stress, worry, anxiety and fear an automatic habit.

Practice doesn’t make perfect, it makes permanent, and what you make permanent becomes your subconscious programming.

The thoughts that consistently run through your psyche and the emotional state you find yourself in over and over again is training your mind and body. You are programming your brain to turn the thoughts and feelings you are having on a weekly or even daily basis into automatic mental and physical habits, even if these thoughts and emotions are unintentional.

The reason hypnotherapy works so well with fears, stress and anxiety is that the main foundation of hypnotherapy is moving the body and mind into deep, natural relaxation.

If someone may be dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. PTSD is created by authentic fears based on real traumatic experiences, and those can be terrifying. Fears and emotions are created by: Events + Beliefs + Emotions = Behavior = Results.

It’s what we decide and believe about an event, usually heightened by fearful emotions, that then drives our behaviors and actions, and creates our results.

However, very often those beliefs are unconscious. By using hypnotherapy you can find amend/edit/delete those limiting beliefs and then create new beliefs in the subconscious through suggestions and visualization exercises.

For example, if someone at 40 years old has a fear of public speaking because back in the 5th grade when they were 10 years old they went up to the chalk board and spelled cat “kat” and the entire class laughed and the teach got angry (real client, by the way), the issue can’t be resolved by changing her behavior (feel the fear and do it anyway), the issue needs to be resolved in her beliefs about the situation and herself.

Now that event at 10 years old was unconscious. She didn’t come in because she was upset about spelling cat “kat” 30 years ago, she didn’t consciously remember that. She was upset because at 40 years old her career was stalled because she wouldn’t get in front of people and do presentations, or manage projects to give her big idea in the weekly meetings. But the 10 year old her created a safety belief that is was unsafe to be in front of people, and that belief became an automatic habit and she was being worked by her unconscious programming, and her career suffered for it 30 years later.

If a person uses their natural ability to change their perception and what they belief about an event and/or themselves, then transformation and healing can occur.

By regularly using hypnotherapy (which is not unlike meditation or the restful savasana at the end of yoga) the body re-learns to be in the relaxation state. The subconscious makes being in the parasympathetic nervous system an automatic habit. Practice doesn’t make perfect, it makes permanent and what you make permanent becomes your subconscious programming.

Hypnotherapy is also an incredible tool to use to help diminish the emotions someone may have around a past event. You create the beliefs and emotions you have around any situation and while you can’t change the events in your life (she did spell cat “kat”) you can change what believe and what you feel about that event anytime you want. You have that right. You have that ability. You have that power.

Hypnotherapy Is Not Unlike Physical Therapy

If you have pain and movement problems with your hip (or another part of your body) you may need to see a physical therapist. A physical therapist is trained to help patients heal through hands-on care and patient education. The physical therapist doesn’t “do” anything to you, nor does “physical therapy”. Using their training and experience, the physical therapist guides the patient through various stretches and exercise so that the patient heals themselves. If the patient is unmotivated to heal or unwilling to do the work during their session together then no restoration of the body is possible.

Physical therapists also prescribe “homework” in the form of exercises to do on a daily basis at home in order to accelerate healing. This is important for the injury to heal properly and as quickly as possible and for you to return to 100% mobility.

Hypnotherapy works in the same way. Hypnotherapy doesn’t do the healing, it is a technique, a tool, that actives your own natural healing potential, be it physical, mental, or emotional restoration.

While there is great benefit and healing that happens at a hypnotherapy session, in order to accelerate healing and goal achievement, as well as, anchor the new positive beliefs and programming you will need to spend time each day on “homework”.

You will need to spend 15-20 minutes in self-hypnosis or listening to a hypnotherapy recording, twice a day if possible. It would also be helpful to write out your affirmations once a day in the morning or before going to bed and spending a few minutes twice a day reciting your affirmations out loud (which you could do in the car or at home behind closed doors for privacy).

Take Back Control!

With hypnotherapy, you are in control. The hypnotherapist is the guide to help you reach your goal (not unlike a physical therapist or athletic coach).

Hypnotherapy is an incredible tool to use to help diminish the emotions someone may have around a past event. You create the beliefs and emotions you have around any situation and you can change those beliefs and emotions anytime you want.

If a person uses their natural ability to change their perception and what they belief and feel about an event and themselves, then transformation and healing can occur.

To hammer this point home, what you believe or feel about an event in your life is under your control, if you don’t take control yourself then your subconscious mind will create the programming based on information it received and will “guess” what the best course of action will be to keep you safe and alive (which might not necessarily be to make you happy and successful, it’s not personal, it’s just programming which you have the ability to change).

Using hypnosis to quiet the conscious mind and enter that deep inner stillness we all can achieve through deep, natural relaxation we can edit, amend and reprogram limiting beliefs and troublesome emotions.

However, hypnotherapy doesn’t give you control over anything you’ve never had control over.

Hypnotherapy simply gives you a way of accessing what you’ve always had control over and never took the time to access or train. You’ve always had the ability to access your subconscious mind, to take responsibility for your emotions, actions and beliefs, but you’ve never had the training to do it.
