As the body moves into the parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation response) and out of the stress response the body and mind can move deeper into states that improve health and mental well-being. This modality it an amazing tool to help heal trauma and remove blocks to achieving goals. The ability to heal is within everyone. We are a culture of doing so sometimes moving into these relaxed healing states feels like we are not doing enough.
